Goodbye Slackware

After many years using Slackware and actively contributing to Slackware communities like linuxpackages.net, I decided to change distro.

The reason is that Slackware becomes "older" with any release, thus doesn't suit my needs any more.

I don't want to sound to harsh: I still think it is a good distro, and I am happy for each user that still finds Slackware the best distro around. It is only that I don't think it is the best match for me any more.

What does that mean for this small website? Well, not much: this is the place where I publish all the documents, scripts or code that I write and I think could be useful for other people. There is much more here than Slackware packages.

Besides I will continue to develop and support all the Slackware tools I wrote in the past, like requiredbuilder and repos.slapt. So if you find a bug or you miss a feature, drop me an email and I'll try to solve the problem, no matter what :)

I left along time ago. Slack reminds me of what I read about SLS these days. They'll keep worshiping this false god and keeping the multitudes paying pentence. Slackware reminds me of the Catholic church these days.

Bitch all you want nobody at the top is going to hear you. Glad I'm baptist :)
